Lake Titicaca is the largest lake in South America |
and the highest navigable body of water in the world (you can see peaks of the Andes in the background) |
Isla del Sol, one of the islands in the lake, is beautiful |
and has the best views for a relaxing lunch or cup of tea |
before heading back, you can watch supplies come in by boat from Copacabana on the mainland and get loaded on mules, llamas and backs (impressive because the altitude is real) |
location: Copacabana & Isla del Sol, Bolivia |
