Mendoza!

I am staying at the most amazing hostel in Maipu in the heart of Mendoza's best vineyards

here you can go on a bike tour to do tastings at as many wineries as possible

the views are stunning

and when you've had too much wine, you can just hope on a tandem bike and have someone else do all the biking

if you're really lucky, you can get the tour guide to fill up your water bottle as a souvenir

for lunch you can stop at an olive grove and do an olive oil tasting

and then finish off with a liquor and spirits tasting

overall, I'm probably enjoying myself way too much here :)

waterfalls and toucans and coati - oh my! (Iguazu)

i almost skipped going to Iguazu, but luckily a great friend talked me into going (thanks Erin :) )

it was incredible

the falls were beautiful, extraordinary and so much fun

i took a boat ride under the falls
the craziest water adventure ever

and did a jungle tour (self-guided) to find some animals. this is a plush crested jay

i loved the toucans

there were a few monkeys

tons of coati

and a few reptiles

this is the magical place Patagonia Outdoor Clothing and Gear is named after

Perito Moreno

glacier Perito Moreno is one of the few expanding glaciers in Patagonia
it's huge. it has an average height of 74m (which is like 240 ft)
it looks like it belongs on another planet
