exploring the caves of the Incas |
the beautiful drive to the Sacred Valley |
Moray. each terrace is a different micro climate. likely used to experiment and study the effects of climate on crops |
peruvian traffic |
Salinas de Maras, pre-Incan salt pools, produce some of he best salt in the world (supposedly :)) |
Ollayantambo in the sacred valley. where the Incas retreated after the Spanish took Cusco |
Pisac. where we spent too much time in the market to actually hike up to these ruins location: Cusco and the Sacred Valley, Peru |

machu picchu!!!
left at 430 to hike up before the buses arrive to beat the tourists |
and catch a glimpse of a quiet machu picchu |
got in trouble for goofing off too much during the tour. couldn't help it i was so excited |
hiked up a million steps to the top of machupicchu for lunch |
it was the best ever from the top |
from the sun gate (inca trail entrance) |
